A: No – the MT-07 and YZF-R7 share the same 689cc parallel-twin engine and frame, but the MT-07 has naked bodywork with no fairing, while the YZF-R7 has full fairing panels. The tank contours and bodywork shapes differ significantly, so this kit is designed for the YZF-R7 only.
Q: What is the difference between the YZF-R7 and the YZF-R6?
A: The YZF-R6 is based on a 599cc inline-four engine platform with a completely different frame, bodywork, and tank design. The YZF-R7 uses a 689cc parallel-twin engine. Despite both being supersport bikes, their bodywork is entirely different – this kit is designed for the YZF-R7 only.
